  • What is the booking process for Newport Retreat rentals?

    To book a rental, select your preferred dates on our website, complete the reservation form, and submit payment. Confirmation and check-in details will be sent via email.

  • Are pets allowed in the rentals?

    Both homes are non-smoking and pet-free, so guests with allergies can book with confidence. If you have a service animal, please contact us before booking.

  • What amenities are included with the rentals?

    Both homes include air conditioning (rare on the Balboa Peninsula), private garage parking with an EV charger, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, fast WiFi, smart-home entry and beach gear such as surfboards, boogie boards, chairs and towels. The Harbor Lookout adds a private rooftop deck with harbor views; the Surf Casita has a private fire-pit patio.

  • How can I modify or cancel my reservation?

    Modifications and cancellations can be made through your booking confirmation link, or just message me directly. Cancel 30 or more days before arrival for a full refund, 15–29 days for 50%. Inside 15 days, the booking is non-refundable.

  • How far are the homes from the beach?

    Both homes sit on 20th Street on the Balboa Peninsula, about a two-minute walk to the sand and roughly the same to Newport Pier, the boardwalk and waterfront dining. Marina Park and the bay beach are a five-minute walk in the other direction, so most guests never move their car.
